A BIT ABOUT ME

I've been in financial services for nearly the last two decades, and I've roughly spent the last 10 years solely in mortgages. I originally entered financial services and wealth management from being a single mom and seeing (and experiencing) firsthand the disparity in the knowledge of finances, investing, and real estate that many people have. I'm passionate about helping people create wealth with a solid financial plan, and I believe Secure Choice Mortgage is the best vehicle to achieve my passion.

Coming from a "big bank," I know all too well what it feels like to be nothing more than a number. At Secure Choice Mortgage, we are highly aware that our people are where our real value lies, and we're always showing that appreciation through our actions. It's how we consistently set ourselves apart for our clients and industry partners.

Our consistent dedication to a healthy work-life balance sets us apart as well. In my free time, I'm a Board Member for the United Way of the Cape Fear and a supporter/volunteer for the Cape Fear Literacy Council. I previously served on their board for six years.

One of my favorite pastimes is boating and enjoying my realized dream of living on the waterfront. Especially when my now, adult sons, Christian and Cameron, tag along.

I've watched my two boys grow into young adults, and it's been the absolute joy of my life to see who they've become in character, integrity, and work ethic. Now, I find myself reminding them that life is supposed to be fun and they're here for a purpose.

Life is more than going to work every day and paying bills. Take a breath, go fishing, enjoy everything about your journey, and seek ways to help another human in some way daily.
